Would You Promote as Hard If You Weren’t Being Paid?

Some people join a company primarily because they want to get paid to provide a product or service to a certain market. Some people join a company because they are fans of the product and they must share it with everyone they know. Either position is fine, but you want to know where you are operating as you are in your company so that you speak with truth and are authentic.

Do You Trust the Product or Service?

When you are in a company and promoting their product or service, you need to make sure that you trust the product or service. If you do not trust it then you are going to lack the ability to get results with your sales.

Do You Trust the Leadership?

Trusting the leadership is a must. If you do not trust the leadership, you may not know if your company is going to be around for long enough to create the kind of income that you want. Besides for that, the reason most of us get involved with network marketing is that we want residual income. If the leadership is not trustworthy then there is always a question about whether the company will last long term.

How Important Is Building Your Brand on Social Media

If you speak to old-school network marketers, many do not understand the importance of building your brand on social media. They are used to going person to person and using elbow grease to get the job done. In this article, we are going to talk about how important building your brand on social media is.

When you think about a brand, you probably think of different soda companies or chips, but everyone has their own brand whether they know it or not. Think of this as your reputation instead of your brand and you will understand it a little better.

Building Your Brand

The colors you use, the way you talk, the way you look, these things are part of your brand. Staying consistent in these things will allow everyone to notice who you by the look of your content. When you start to become familiar with someone and they start to like you, this will break down the resistance of your brain against marketing.

When you are building your brand, you may find it helpful to speak to a consultant that will help you define your brand and your message to your market. Having someone that is outside of yourself look what you are doing is often helpful since we cannot see the picture because we are in the frame.

Make sure you are being who you are as you are building your brand. If you are a shorts and t-shirt kind of person, then that is your brand. You don’t need to put on a suit. If you are working to rebrand and become a different person, then you can start doing that as well. It’s all up to you who you want to be.

It is important to build your brand on social media as it gives you more leverage and it helps you build trust with those people.

Edification Gone Wrong in Network Marketing

If you’ve been in network marketing for any period of time, you have probably heard of edification. In this article, I am going to talk about edification gone wrong in network marketing.

Your upline or a training audio has probably told you about edification and how to use it effectively. While edification is important, you are going to find it comes naturally when people deserve to be edified. It is true that some people have a difficult time saying nice things about other people and they can learn how to tell people honestly good things about other people, but reading an edification about people is not effective in today’s world.

Let’s face it. We can see through fake and so can everyone else. If you have to tell your team to edify you over and over there has to be something wrong. Most of the time people are teaching people how to edify in a totally improper way that simply does not work.

You have probably heard it before, “Make sure to tell everyone my resume so they know how awesome I am and they are going to think I am near God when they are on the phone with me so they listen to me.” The truth is that this strategy backfires. Some people are not going to feel as if they are worthy of speaking to your upline.

Some other people are going to think this person is stuck up and the skilled people are going to be able to smell forced edification a mile away.
A simple, “This person has helped me a great deal and has been working with this company to create something great for his/her family,” is suffice. Take the hype out of the edification and you’ll be surprised at how your results are going to change for the better.

You Don’t Have to Be the Deal to Close the Deal

When I first got started in network marketing, I had no idea what I was doing and that delayed me in taking action. In this article, I am going to talk to you about how you do not need to be the deal to close the deal.

What I mean by this is you don’t have to have the big paychecks, nice houses, lifestyle, etc when you start out to recruit people in beginning. You don’t have to have the testimonials for the products or services in the beginning. You can use the stories and testimonials of other people until you are able to create your own and this is how you are going to be able to create your own stories and paychecks.

Company Provided Testimonies

Your company already has a list of people that are making money and getting results with the products. Since this is the case, you can use what they have already complied to get started. Many times they will have photos, articles and more available for your use.

Ask Your Upline

You can also ask your upline about their stories and testimonies to see what stories and results they have available. This is extra powerful because you will be able to introduce your prospects to someone they have direct access to that has gotten the results that they want to have.

Conclusion

In network marketing, you should know that top network marketing are highly paid storytellers. The better you get at telling stories, the better things are going to go in regards to your paycheck.
